There’s a hot line-up of movies to fill these school holidays
Beat school holiday boredom this September by experiencing more than just a movie at HOYTS. Take your movie adventure to the next level with experiences such as HOYTS D-BOX Motion Recliners, Xtremescreen, and HOYTS LUX, where you can see the biggest blockbusters with even more movie magic.
With more than 490 screens, 59,000 seats and a jam-packed schedule, HOYTS has hit movies to captivate kids of all ages. Even Mum and Dad can relive their school days at a screening of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
HOYTS’ Director of Sales, Marketing and Content Stephanie Mills says the great line up of content means there is something for everyone.
“While we can’t wait to catch the adventures of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, younger members of the family will want to catch PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, the animated superhero comedy based on the television series,” Stephanie explained.
Other highly anticipated new releases dropping just in time for the school holidays include:
- Dreamworks’ Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken is an animated action movie about a shy teenage girl who discovers she’s a member of sea kraken royalty. Her destiny, though, lies beneath the waves – and it’s much bigger than she ever could have imagined; and
- From Disney comes the all-star reboot of Haunted Mansion. Tiffany Haddish, LaKeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto take to the screen in this movie about a single mum who hires a tour guide, psychic, priest and historian to exorcise the ghosts from the mansion she’s just bought.
These movies are made to be seen on the big screen, and kids (and adults) will love seeing them from the comfort of an extra-comfy HOYTS recliner. Choose from Xtremescreen auditoriums, featuring gigantic screens with amazing sound; immersive HOYTS D-BOX auditoriums with seats that move and vibrate in sync with the on-screen action (selected sessions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Haunted Mansion can be seen on D-BOX screens); and premium HOYTS LUX auditoriums with full in-cinema food and beverage service for parents needing a break these school holidays.
During the school holidays, families of three or four can save on their trip to the movies with discounted prices available for all sessions rated G and PG.
Sensory Screenings will continue to run monthly on a Sunday morning during the school holidays, enabling children and adults with sensory concerns to enjoy a safe and welcoming trip to the movies with dimmed lights and softened volume.
“Don’t forget to take advantage of HOYTS Rewards perks during the school holidays,” said Stephanie. “It’s free to join, allows you to access ticket discounts every day, and gives you access to HOYTS points that can be put towards movie tickets, food and drinks, Gift Cards and more.”
