There’s a hot line-up to fill winter days at HOYTS Australia wide
There’s no need to stress about keeping the kids entertained these school holidays. HOYTS has more than 490 screens, 59,000 seats and a jam-packed schedule of blockbuster movies to captivate kids of all ages.
Even Mum and Dad will want to join the action, as screen legend Harrison Ford puts on the felt fedora 15 years after his last outing for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
HOYTS’ Director of Sales, Marketing and Content Stephanie Mills says it is great to see highly anticipated sequels as well as brand new characters hitting the big screen.
“Indy isn’t the only huge name on the slate. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the seventh movie in the franchise, opens with Advance Screenings from June 12,” Stephanie explained.
The highly anticipated new releases that have dropped just in time for the school holidays also include:
- Disney Pixar’s Elemental. Set in Element City, where residents of land, air, water and fire all live together, this animation sees go-with-the-flow Wade challenge fiery Ember’s beliefs about life; and
- DC Studios latest, The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton. Worlds collide as Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time and inadvertently alters the future.
For those that haven’t had a chance to see it yet, the live-action reimagining of The Little Mermaid, is a must see on the big-screen in 3D. Fans of the original won’t be disappointed with the underwater visuals and Halle Bailey’s mesmerising vocals.
Younger members of the family will enjoy the animated Cats in the Museum, which follows the lives of the four-legged inhabitants of the St Petersburg Winter Palace.
HOYTS cinemas right across Australia feature a variety of extra-comfy and luxurious movie-watching experiences to suit any movie or audience. There are Xtremescreen auditoriums, featuring gigantic screens with amazing sound; immersive HOYTS D-BOX auditoriums with seats that move and vibrate in sync with the on-screen action; and ultra-comfy HOYTS LUX auditoriums with full in-cinema food and beverage service.
During the school holidays, families of three or four can save on their trip to the movies with discounted prices available for all sessions rated G and PG.
Sensory Screenings will continue to run monthly on a Sunday morning during the school holidays, enabling children and adults with sensory concerns to enjoy a safe and welcoming trip to the movies with dimmed lights and softened volume
“School holidays are a great time to take advantage of HOYTS Rewards perks, too,” said Stephanie. “It’s free to join, allows you to access ticket discounts every day, and gives you access to HOYTS points that can be put towards movie tickets, food and drinks, Gift Cards and more.”
