(ACIFF) Strangers When We Met

The film is adapted from the true story of “A Murderous Girl in a Wedding Dress.” It follows the narrative of Laoqin, an ex-prisoner who is released after 27 years of imprisonment. Eager to marry and start a family, he inadvertently encounters CHANG Juan, a woman who has also recently been released from prison. While he seeks children, she is in pursuit of financial stability. Together, they embark on a marriage of convenience driven by their respective agendas, which is also the beginning of a painful life for both of them.
